Chicago White Sox prospects playing well in Spring Training – MLB Update

Currently the 2013 Major League Baseball Spring Training is in full swing and the Chicago White Sox’s farm system proving to be very helpful as all the prospects are showing great individual skills and joining the list of impressive performers.
The two most impressive talents are Scott Snodgress and Keenyn Walker who showed great resilience in the field. Snodgress on the mound and Walker with the bat did a splendid job in the recent game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
“I felt great about it. I hung that curveball and made a mistake there, but I’m going to learn from and hopefully not make that same mistake again. But other than that, I felt things were very good and an improvement from my last outing.” Snodgress said.
Later manager Robin Ventura said for Walker, “(Walker has) looked great, From last year to this year it's a good improvement that you see guys get better and just mature and you know, kind of grow in the system.”
Not only the these twp prospects, but the White Sox management certainly did a very good job this past offseason in which they brought some good individuals in their 40-man roster. They mixed young and experience players for the betterment of the whole team.
Unlike last season, the White Sox has clear advantage over some top teams in stating lineup. They have some of the best starters in the roster including Jake Peavy, Gavin Floyd, Dylan Axelrod and John Danks.
Peavy, with eleven-year Major League experience, played wonderfully in the last Major League outing performing with an ERA of 3.37 along with 11-12 win-loss 194 strikeouts and 1.10 WHIP. He has good career numbers as well which also makes him one of the
most offensive starters in the big league.
He currently carries 3.46 ERA along with 120-93 win-loss, 1748 strikeouts and 1.18 WHIP. Looking at his last season’s performance and overall career stats, experts believe that his class and level of skills are certainly huge and if the White Sox able to
go beyond the regular season, Peavy’s contribution will be witnessed by everyone.
