Chicago White Sox re-sign infielder Dallas McPherson – MLB News

The Chicago White Sox is looking desperate to rebuild their roster for the next Major League season as their management has re-signed infielder Dallas McPherson.
McPherson, who has spent most of last season with Triple-A Charlotte, is a great prospect for the White Sox in the upcoming season. His batting average of .283 with 20 home-runs and total 69 RBIs makes him a good player at the moment as the White Sox management
including their new manager Robin Ventura is very determined to include some quality players in this offseason. Not only McPherson, many others, especially some potential free agents are provoking the White Sox.
Since the White Sox management has succeeded to re-sign McPherson, their management is now expecting some exciting possibilities as Mark Buehrle, whose contract was ended last month and became a free agent. The entire White Sox management is ready to take
a step forward and try their best to offer a good contract to Buehrle in order to re-sign him for future seasons.
Buehrle, who has made a huge impact on the game during his affiliation with the White Sox since he started his professional baseball career from this plate-form some 10 years earlier, possesses vast experience and extraordinary pitching skills that is the
main reason why the White Sox management is still hopeful that he will make a comeback into the team.
However, the White Sox are yet to make any announcements regarding their new signings as their top level management is scheduled to meet this coming Wednesday in Arizona to confront the most important agenda of free agency signings.
The White Sox financial experts have estimated offseason spending to total close to $127 million and that amount will also easily allow them to include some of the very best free agents available. The sources have not said anything as to what salary Dallas
McPherson has agreed but it is pretty sure if the White Sox management wants to sign Mark Buehrle again that they are willing to spend a huge amount of money.
The recent re-signing of McPherson also indicates that the Chicago White Sox are certainly rebuilding their team for the 2012 season.
