Chicago White Sox surpass Seattle Mariners 4-3 – MLB Recap
The Chicago White Sox surpassed the Seattle Mariners 4-3 in the third and last game of their three-match regular series encounter on Sunday, August 26 at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago.
Tyler Flowers played brilliantly for the White Sox and helped his team ease past the Mariners in style.
“A.J. [Pierzynski] was swearing to me that it wouldn't count and we were going to lose, I don't know if he was just messing with me. We have good fun. But we found out shortly after the delay it was going to count." said Flowers of his decisive hit which proved fruitful for the White Sox in their decent win.       
White Sox’s catcher scored one run and smashed one hit on his three at-bats. He ran for two RBIs as well and maintained his slugging percentage of .439.
Right fielder Alex Rios also played well and proved helpful in the White Sox’s tremendous win. He scored one run and one hit on his three at-bats while his slugging percentage also remained consistent at .521.
Second baseman Ray Olmedo did well on his three at-bats as he ran for one run and two hits while his slugging percentage also remained consistent at .294.
Left fielder Jordan Danks also contributed with his one run and one RBI. His smashing on three at-bats was exceptional as he was able to maintain his slugging percentage at .321.
Not only batters, the White Sox’s pitchers also played beautifully as they did not allow the Mariners to bat freely.
They all pitched in the right areas and edged past the Mariners with style.
Gavin Floyd started the game for the White Sox as he pitched two innings and allowed one run only.
"It's one of those things I wish I could take the inflammation out and keep on going. That's not the case, I feel great otherwise. I've just got to do whatever possible to get back out on the field. I just hope it happens quick," Floyd said.                                          
Floyd also struck-out one while his ERA was also remained consistent at 4.55.
