Chicago White Sox’s Gordon Beckham upbeat ahead of regular season – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox infielder Gordon Beckham is a good player having tremendous late in the order batting skills as well as brilliant fielding stats. His recent stint with the team in Arizona’s Cactus League was a great learning experience for him as he learned many new techniques.
Playing a positive role in this year’s Major League Baseball Spring Training has given him some extra confidence which he will be showing in the next big event in the League. Beckham is a three year veteran and only played in the White Sox roster since he has started his professional baseball career in 2009, also knows as he is on the right track to play a fresh season.
He has recently commented in the media explaining almost everything which contributed a great deal bringing consistency in his game.
Beckham said, “The last couple of games in Arizona were tough to get up for because if you’re ready, you know it and you don’t need three more games to tell you otherwise, There was a time there in the middle [of spring training] where I was searching for something and got a little off that, but I definitely feel like I’ve done ‘me’ throughout and I’m continuing to do that, I found a great feel about a week ago and kept that up. So I’m pretty excited. That’s just the big-leaguer in him, when you’re hitting, everything’s good.”
Looking at his late comments in the media, media and some sports experts explained that Beckham has learnt a great deal in this year’s Spring Training in Arizona. He was good in the field and whenever he came to bat, he played with enormous energy and showed the White management his true class.
On the other hand it is a very healthy sign for the White Sox management that their one of the good hitters of the balls is getting ready for the big event and showing his capabilities to the rest of the roster while this late good reaction of Beckham for the next season will also certainly bring consistency in the team’s results.
