I live in Bucktown right next to the Western Blue line stop. I'm having a big party this weekend and we want to take the train in to the loop somewhere to bar hop. Does anyone know of any good bars that would be close to a blue line stop? (we don't want to transfer trains with a huge group)

  1. I think Nick's Beer Garden isn't far from there...

  2. There are a bunch of bars down by Wigley Field..such as Wrigleyville North -  3900 N. Sheridan Rd. -During the week, this neighborhood sports bar caters to locals looking for a drink in a low-key atmosphere. But on the weekends, when the deejays or bands start playing, the crowd lets loose, Cubby Bear Wrigleyville-Located directly across the street from Wrigley Field Five full-service bars, along with one beer bar, occupy the 30,000-square-foot venue that remains jam-packed. That's just a few, but there are more but the one's I named are located off of the Red Line. But these are great places to party & have fun & also there is lots of police so there isn't much crime during the party times.....

  3. Hmm...the loop at night? Its pretty dead. I would go to Rush/Division area. Tons of bars and clubs at every price point.

Go to the Hangge Uppe on Elm, best bar in Chicago. Be sure to get there before 11PM, as the line is pretty long.
