Question:

Chicago condominium co-presidents?

Does anyone know if a condominium association can have co-presidents rather than just one president?

We are having trouble getting some residents to chip-in and join the board, and now the position of president is vacant.

I think that is scaring away some that might be willing to be on the board, but don't want to be "president" when they've had no exposure to being on the board at all.

I am betting that if they were to be co-president with someone already on the board, they would be more willing to join.

Anyone offer any help?

Thanks!!

  1. The by-laws of the association must be amended to make positions for co-presidents instead of only one president.
