Go to a blues club, or watch a baseball game.  You have the cubs or the white sox to choose from.

There is Baseball, Museums, Zoos, All type of food, Botanical Parks, Planetarium, Aquarium, Millenium Park, History, Art, Theater-Plays and Concerts.  Just search for Chicago IL and you will get lists of things to do.

There is Navy Pier.  Sitting on the lake front..Downtown Chicago is a great place to walk through.  The Water Tower..There are lots of clubs, bars etc...

Lincoln Park Zoo  -  free and tremendous

Hang and shop at Belmont/Broadway/Clark  - very cool

The whole coastline contains free and beautiful beaches

Wicker Park (Milwaukee/Damen/North)  is fun to hang and shop

Chinatown  (Cermak & Wentworth, just east of Halsted)

Devon Avenue - big Indian market area

Ride the el all day and look at the city!  -

There are tooooooo many to name.  It really depends what side of town you are on and what you like to do.  The majority of things are downtown but there are tons to do in the different neighborhoods in Chicago.
