Chicago residence...?

Where would you suggest moving to in Chicago if your planning on beginning a career in music producing and becoming a recording artist? Also, it has to be a relatively cheap area, but not slummy.

Somewhere close to millenium park?

they have places where you can play your music for people in open bars and stuff.

It's kinda expensive but still, affordable. And def. not slummy due to the massive amounts of tourists and Chicagoans there.

Logan Square

Lots of college students and artist live in that area. Good amount of bars, late night places to get food and fairly safe.
