I am going to Chicago from Indianapolis on Amtrak's Cardinal in July and I need the frequencies to monitor the route north of Lafayette, IN, and also would like the frequencies on Metra's Electric Line and anything else near the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

  1. I dont know about that area but I live in Northern Michigan in a little kick town, and the cops are on digital frequencies.

You need a 500.00+ scanner to get those channels.

  2. Your the guy who answered the horn question. Good job with it.

       I got my freq's at..  http://www.radioreference.com/

here are come Chicago's Freq's: Well now that I look on there, I don't see anything, but a h**l of alot of toher things. Maybe you could look harder.

On the website, go to the top left, alittle below and you will see RR Database. Go there and either pick Illinonis, or Chigaco. and look through there.
