Chickens just pecked up coffee granuals!!?

Question

I was making coffee in the kitchen, and my chickens were in there, as they often are! and i accidently dropped the pack of coffee granuals... they then began pecking it up, will this affect them in any way!? :( I certainly hope it wont make them loopy! :) but seriously, there is no damage done is there??? :(

I dont think the coffee will hurt them.It may upset their stomache but I think they will be fine.

I cant say if it would, but to make sure watch them for a couple days. Next time be a bit more carful with that.

I doubt it will hurt them.  My chickens always eat anything and everything they can get to and I've never had a problem with them being affected by anything.  They are goofy birds.
