I am using a Toshiba Satellite A215-S4747. It has a built in webcam (Chicony USB 2.0 camera) and since I upgraded to vista ultimate it has not worked. I tried what you said to do Control Panel -> System and Maintenance ->Device Manager, and when I got to the folder was under +Other devices and was called Unknown device. When I tried to upgrade it (via internet and browsing) the Computer said "Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device" and explains that Chicony USB 2.0 Camera cannot be installed. If you can help, email me at ezralesser@comcast.net. I have a toshiba P205-S6247 and after installing viast ultimate the web cam drivers didn't install. I get the following error msg: The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for Windows95 or later. Contact your hardward vendor.
