Chien-Ming Wang???

Question

is Chien-Ming Wang worth picking up to stash in my DL slot, no one injured on my team right now ( knock on wood) just wondering if its worth it or not

If you have an open DL spot then it can't hurt.  He is good for several W's, and decent numbers.  If your league counts K9 it hurts his value.  That is why I didn't pick him up, I want to keep my K9 higher.    

Keep in mind that you might have to drop someone so you can pick him up, and then stash him on the DL.  Players can't go straight from free agent to DL, they are put on your bench first.  Otherwise you may be over the league limit for players.

If you have an empty DL slot then why not just hang onto him. If your team is a contender down the road he could be worth having

In a keeper league, it would be a good move, since you can always cut him if you need to move another player to that slot... In a non-keeper league, he isn't going to be back this year, so why bother?

Chien-Ming Wang is definitely the ace worth to pick up.  I guarantee you he will be immediately back on track off the DL.  I have him on my team and I cannot afford to drop him.  Besides, why not pick him up?  You have a free DL spot.  It would not hurt to add him.

if your team is playoff bound and you have the space i would. it's times like this you read the crystal ball and yes take a chance becuase they won't be there down the road.

what you do now may be the difference in winning come play of time.
