The Flying Donkeys’ player has warned the champions that his team will come at the Rossoneri with their guns blazing.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-Paloschi-c4338 has warned his parent club of a stiff competition in the upcoming Serie A clash between the two teams.
Both teams are desperate for league points as the Milan outfit recently lost their supremacy in the league to Juventus, and the Donkeys need the win in order to secure their stay in Italy’s top flight.
The two teams are set to meet at the Stadio Bentegodi, and Chievo are keen for a payback of their defeat at the hands of the Rossoneri earlier this season.
The striker insisted that Chievo want to demonstrate that they have come a long way from the team that lost to the Diavolo in their previous meeting. The forward stated that the club had a good season last time around, and the
target is to beat the mark set in the previous season, in order to stand proud at the end of the season.
While talking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Milan player said:
“We want to demonstrate that we are better than the side who lost 4-0 at Milan. We, as a team, want to beat the 46 points tally that we achieved last season. It would be nice if we could reach 50…”
Chievo Verona have currently managed to accumulate 42 points from their stint in the ongoing season, are looking to add to that number in the match against the champions.
Paloschi has a history with AC Milan, as the player joined the Flying Donkeys from the San Siro outfit in summer, after spending a loan period at Parma and Genoa. The striker has scored five goals in the 25 appearances for his
team in the league matches.
The aggressor stated that his future return to Milan at the end of the season has a big question mark on it, and insisted that he is completely committed to his present club.
“Milan? I don’t know if I will return there in June. For now I am just concentrating on playing football.” He added.
