The electrifying shot went past the netkeeper for the lone goal of the game, and won the three points for the champions, restoring them at the top of the Serie A points table. However, their comeback to the summit could be short lived if Juventus manage

The Gialloblu custodian admitted that the strike from the Ghanaian International rocketed past him, and he had but little chance to impede the speeding ball from reaching the back of the net.
While talking to the press, the former Torino custodian stated:
“Let’s say that he didn’t shoot very softly. It took very little time for the ball to go from his foot to the back of the net…”
Apart from the lone strike that went past him, the match was devoid of much action for the keeper. The Gialloblu netkeeper believes that the final result was a little cruel to the team as they put in a strong performance in the match against the champions.
The goalkeeper insisted that with a little luck they could have gone on to take victory or at least a point from the game. He insisted that the team’s failure to produce a decisive goal in the game cost them the defeat in the crucial match.
“It’s a shame that we didn’t take home at least a point. We played a great game and we were just missing that decisive goal.”
Sorrentino commended AC Milan for putting in a solid performance against them and extolled the team’s aggressive mentality that never sat satisfied despite a lead in the game.
“Milan? They were very concrete and after scoring the first goal with their first shot, they just tried to double their advantage on the counter-attack.”
Chievo Verona are currently placed ninth in the Serie A points table, and are looking to add to their points total in order to get as much further from the relegation zone as they can.
