Chiggers?!?!?!? Someone help!!! Need advice.?

My husband and I spend a great deal of time outside. We both have chiggers now. Can anyone answer if chiggers can live on furniture and in carpet? Also can you get chiggers from your pets?

They can definitely live on furniture and on pets and can multiply inside your home.  Sorry to be the beaer of bad news!

They also do not disciminate between humans and pets...as long as there is blood to feed tehmself which allows them to change from larva to adult (and then lay their eggs).

You need to get some type of spray that kills them and do it fairly quickly.

For indoors and outdoors, there is a spray called bedbug terminator that is made by a company called Kleen-Free that, while it was designed for Bedbugs I have heard from others that it seems to also work on chiggers.

You just spray it eveywhere that they are/may be and it kills them on contact.  I think you may want to add something , perhaps this same product, to your laundry to get any that may be living in your clothes.
