Chihuahua interactions... female female or male female?

We are thinking about getting another dog. We currently have a female chihuahua who is 3 years old. We want to get another chihuahua but are not sure if we should get another female or a male. I have heard that dogs of the opposite s*x get along better, but I want to make sure. My dog is spayed, of course, so that shouldn't be a problem. What do you all think... boy or girl?

I have two females chihuahuas, ones snarly and the other is so sweat, their sisters, but they dont get alonge very well, they DO get along sometimes though, and they make it hard to be angry at.....  SO WATCH OUT THEY WILL PUT YOU IN A DEAP TRANCE WITH THEIR CUTENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
