Chihuahuas. Is it the right type of dog for me?

please tell me every thing there is to know about this type of dog. i want to know the pros & cons, costs, everything there is to know! please help!

You're obviously sold on the breed already but -and this is only a personal viewpoint-for me chihuahuas are just about the worst breed I ever met.

Having worked in quarantine kennels for a good span,I met every breed of dog imaginable.Chihuahuas? Nasty yappie little things that have cat like teeth-needle sharp and go for your ankles.

This is not a dog.

This is a rat .

But there is a dog for everyone and if yours is that then good for you (no sarcasm intended)-sincerely meant- and every happiness.

Peopld who have them really like them! I do suggest that if you decide to get one that you rescue one from the pound. They are one of them most overbred dogs in North America, so you'll have tons of selection at the local pound. Save a puppy!
