I want to make a wrestling cake for my son. I have seen all the ones online BUT I want someone to TELL me how they made a wrestling ring cake. I want to know the dimensions of the square (ex:12x12, 8x8...or whatever) double layer? what they used for the corners and how they attached the string, ribbon, licorice to the corners. ALSO, how may cake mixes they used for whatever pan they used. I will be eternally grateful.

  1. Can you give a link to the cake, it would be a lot easier to help you if we could see the cake.

  2. basically, a double layer(favorite flavor) 12x12 with whatever color frosting(storebought)

put some of the candles in the corners and tie licorice strips around them(easy)

buy some action figures to place in the "ring"

    :)

    or call Charm City Cakes

they will make any cake you want :P

  3. The size of the cake depends on how many guests you need it to feed.  You'll probably want to amke a double layer cake.

You could make it a rectangle 9"x13" (standard sized pan) and use one cake mix per pan/layer for a total of 2 cake mixes. You could make use white straws for the corners to hold the ropes, just insert them into the cake and maybe rope vine licorice for the "ropes"

Try this site for visual ideas http://www.coolest-birthday-cakes.com/wr...

  4. Use one box of regular yellow cake to make a 13x9 cake.  Use a white icing to cover the whole cake.  You can probably find a WWF logo on line and scan it on paper to put in the middle (cut it out so only the logo is on the cake). For the ring, use red licorice and marshmallows.  You can stack the marshmallows on long toothpicks, like three regular sized marshmallows for each pillar.  Attach the licorice to the marshmallows using cookie icing.  The cookie icing hardens as it dries, so it makes for good glue.  Then just decorate with little wrestling guys.  You could even go so far as to dress up like the announcer and use a bull horn when the cake is cut "Lllllllet's get ready to partyyyyyyy!" Corny, but fun for kids

  5. make a plain cake and decorate it with wrestling stuff use candy and sweet stuff
