  1. It could be that she isn't drinking enough water.  Areas around joints sometimes hurt when they are dry.  Have her drink more water, and if she is still having bad pains after a couple days take her to the doctor.

  2. My 6 year old started having pain when he was 2.  We ran through all tests - nothing came up.  To manage now, if he is very actice - a lot of jumping or running, I will give him some children's advil before bed.  In winter, keep his legs warm.  It wouldn't hurt though to see your Doctor - could be many things, such as arthritis.  Good luck.

  3. It sounds like it could be growing pains, I always got them in my knees first before everything else.  Try some heating pads or something warm along her ears to help relax the muscles and maybe some children's motrin.

If the pain gets worse or you see her having trouble walking or bending them make an appointment with your doctor, my nephew had a problem where things weren't growing as fast as everything (I forget completely what it's called, sorry!) else and he had to be in a knee brace on each leg for a little bit to keep them straight because it hurt so much to bend them.

  4. i did like wen i was her age
