Ok, so i'm 13 years old. Almost 14. I came down to my cousins hosue for a while (in Georgia) but I originally live in Ohio. My cousin's mother has gave me permission to stay down here for a semister because I hate my school and city (its violent and horrible). I was planning on starting school down here but I have to have permission by my mother. She said it's not possible at all but everyone else says that she just needs to sign some papers and get them approved. I have until the 29 of August to get this all done and I need to proove to her that it's possible. Most people are just saying that she is being lazy and dosnt want to do it. I'm not trying to sound selfish at all. I really hate that place so please give me answers.

  1. Make her see your point of view. Explain to her that you think that would be a good solution because you feel threatened at the other school. Good luck

  2. I think you should  discuss it over with your mother. Might be she has some  important reason why not to do it. Put your needs and facts on a piece of paper and  ask her to do the same. This way you both get more time  to think it over without  getting  upset.

  3. I would contact the school that you want to be attending so they can point you in the right direction. They should have the necessary paperwork be able to answer most of your questions. Good luck!

  4. just ask your mom to move to Georgia

  5. It's definitely possible. You might have your aunt call Child Welfare in her area and ask what needs to be done. They can probably give you a list and that would make it easier for your mom. Also, ask your mom if there's any reason she would not want you to stay with your cousin's family. Maybe there's something you don't know. In any case, your mom should be honest with you. Don't whine or yell when you talk to her, try to be really grown up and mature in your conversations. If there's anything that's happened in your old neighborhood that your mom doesn't know about, now it's time to tell her.

    Good luck. :)
