  1. No it sure does not.

Some people take more then just marijuana as a medication, it is legal now in many states.

Of course anyone who breaks the law this does have something to do with custody. Which parent is breaking the law worse, mother or father?

The hurt and dying do not automatically get there children taken away just because they are a marijuana patient......

  2. My sister's ex did not try to get custody, but they had joint and he was ordered to take drug tests every week for a year.

  3. It's not the end all be all, but it is a determining factor and a great one at that.

Kevin Federline got custody because he detoxed himself (and probably didn't quit pot) and Britney was WAY worse of a provider than he was.  I'm not of the belief that pot smoking on the weekend = bad parent.  Because by that logic any mind altering substance is wrong which means people who smoke cigarettes (nicotine is mind altering, try going a few days without it if you're a regular smoker) or drink alcohol (which is obviously indisputable mind altering) you're a bad parent?  I don't think so.

  4. yes b./c the court considers that an unsafe environment and u might have trouble even getting unsupervised visits

  5. Not looking good for you, marijuana is illegal by the standards of the federal government.  I would recommend you stop smoking pot.

  6. more than likely, but you have to prove that the other parent is using drugs and could be of harm to the child.  They don't want children around drugs or people who use them.

  7. long story short...no

  8. No, not usually.

  9. definitely no.

  10. more than likely unless the other parent is a complete unfit parent. pot is illegal and should never be around a baby.

  11. It shouldn't have anything to do with how good of a parent you are if you smoke pot. They don't take kids away from people who casually drink. Which in my opinion is worse than smoking. The government needs to but out of our lives. They are violating our rights by enforcing things like this. They are a bunch of hipocrits.
