Child Lock on Insignia TV

Question

Okay so this is a bit complicated. My roommate somehow managed to lock my NS-20LCD television with the universal remote. I tried every combination of codes I could think of and nothing.

I called Insignia and they said to get a new remote. Got a new remote from Best Buy and put brand new batteries in it and it doesn't work! It won't even turn on my tv let alone escape from child lock.

Anyone know of how to fix this? Please please please help me. Thanks.
