Child Sty in lower right eyelid?

My daughter has been getting sties in her right eye for about 6 months off and on. I've taken her to the Dr. but the meds that he gave her didn't seem to work so now I would like to find out if there is something herbal that i can give her. i know to put warm compresses on her eye but is there anything else that is out there? The sty doesn't hurt her but I want it gone ASAP.

I'm guessing it has more to do with her hands then her face. I used to get them when I played hockey and fussed with my contacts with sweaty hands. Get her in the habbit of washing hands very regularly, get kids soap and introduce a song for her to sing to make it fun. Have antibacterial cream for her hands and get her in the habit to keep her hands away from her face as much as posible.

I went to the eye doctor for this myself last week.  She told me that most of the products on the market do not work and to try the warm compress (as you said) when I get one.  She told me that to prevent myself from getting another one to buy a No-Tears childrens shampoo and wash my eyes with it.  She said that this helps remove the make up and other environmental factors that can cause a stye.  Haven't got to go to the store to pick up the shampoo yet but I thought I would pass her tip along to you anyway.  Hope this helps!
