i know that when it comes to these everyone has their own openion which is fine. you are the parent adn it should be your choise on weater or not our child gets them. But did anyone else thing it was rediculus when Amanda Peet said that any parent who dosn't vaccinate their child is a parasite? Just because she did research and found that they were nessisary, how many other parents have done research and found them harmful? if parents want to vaccinate their children then fine, i'm still researching it, but please dont insult them if they don't agree with you.

  1. I did some, actually very little research. I mainly went off personal experience, of myself, Hubby and our extended friends & Family.

I am for immunisation, but I don't judge those who don't immunise. That is for those parents to choose. I parent my own, not every one else's children. BUT I can't see any harm in having them done.

I have done the chicken pox jab on my elder boys, because I hadn't had the chicken pox. Needless to say, my 4 month old twins won't be having it, Myself and them are currently feeling the brunt of the chicken pox. :(

  2. Yeah, that is pretty ridiculous. Every parent should have the right to choose what their child does or does not receive in vaccines.

I have done research and the reason that so many children are ending up autistic after childhood vaccinations is because of the 25milg of mercury per vaccine. At such a young age a child's body cannot handle that much mercury at the same time (4 shots under the age of 18 months!) Tuna fish has 0.12milg of mercury and they say not to give that to babies.

My husband and I have decided to vaccinate our children - one vaccine at a time per year. That way the mercury can be processed by their bodies.

But it is totally up to the parent and no one should be called names based on their decision to vaccinate or not vaccinate.

*edit* To the person who responded right below me - sometimes those children were vaccinated, but they get a bad vaccination which causes them to get an outbreak of whatever they had. My sister, brother and I got the chicken pox vaccination and two days later ended up having horrible cases of chicken pox. So it's not always the non-vaccinations that cause those epidemics.

  3. I started research when my congressman petitioned to have vaccines be your choice. Both his grandkids died the next day from vaccine reactions. I can't see vaccines being gerat if they contain mercury and formaldehyde among many other things. I've also found out that SOME disease's aren't near as bad as the possible reaction from the vaccine. Im not saying your gonna have a reaction but it is possible. Also the pharmaceutical companies give dr's and hospitals bonus checks for 100% ccompliance, if they were that great why would they need to do that? Why is there not a huge epidemic in the UK where vaccines are your choice? Why do they give the same amount vaccine to a toddler as a 1day old infant? They do too many too close together.

\I care what a D-list horrible actress thinks. I also care about thumbs downs, not really I couldnt care less about either.

  4. I agree that it is every parents choice but while researching you might want to think about this.  Because of the lack of vaccinations many once thought epidemics are returning.  Such as we have an epidemic of whooping cough here where I live and last year in California there was a small pox incident.  Had these children been vaccinated these disease would not be making a comeback.  I hope we have seen the last of polio.

  5. If any of the people that don't get, them lived or knew much about the days when they didn't exist....then they'd know how deadly those diseases once were. It wasn't like there were just a few hundred, or a few thousand dead. They wiped out large portions of whole contries population. Everyone sat by and watched their families die. Once vaccines were developed and, the illnesses began to irradicate, they started loosing the "dealiness" per say. (they still can kill, but not like 100 years ago)If a large number of people choose not to vaccinate(which is now happening), from a molecular standpoint, not only will it bring the illnesses back, but it will bring them back stronger and more deadly like before. They disease itself will mutate at a faster than normal rate because the ones vaccinated have a higher immunity, and the ones not vaccinated wont. So when someone that isn't infected or vaccinated gets sick, the ilnness then has to rapidly "learn"(for lack of a better term), how to get into the systems of those that were vaccinated.

From a worldwide medical standpoint, it's going to be massively devistating to modern medicine(latest 100 years). It's almost like going back in time, but there will be dramatically more people on Earth, with much unhealthier life styles. Personally I agree with her statement. having traveled the U.S, and researched history, as well as tour these 18th,19th century grave yards, and old closed down hospitals......I can guarentee 100% with 0 doubt. These people are making a deadly choice, that in the end could very well wind up killing a large portion of the worlds population. Call me crazy, believe what you will. It's going to happen that way, history will repeat itself, it always does. The only difference is that we now have a choice. The people from years to go lost their life praying for the vaccines that people cast off now. I find that ridiculous, and it shouldn't be a choice.

  6. While I agree that "parasite" is a harsh word, I do feel badly for their children.  It's unfortunate that those parents are making such a decision so very crucial against their children's health and not protecting them.

What will they do in the case of an injury that requires a tetanus shot?  Just take a risk and HOPE that the child is okay?

What will they do if their child does happen to come down with complications from the chicken pox?  HOPE that the child will make it through?

I have a friend who lost a child to the chicken pox complications.  She then began to get her other child vaccinated, didn't want to risk another heartache.

After the chicken pox shot is given, some children do end up with a case of it, but it's a milder case than that of someone who doesn't get the shot.  My kids did get the chicken pox shot, being that it was given before attending school (I don't believe in exemption forms), and they didn't have any reaction.

My children are vaccinated, and for that, I'm relieved.  They're protected against illnesses that can cause serious complications that lead to death.

There is no link between vaccines and autism...

The people who are still insisting that vaccines are linked to autism must not be reading these studies.

As for "religious reasons" for not immunizing... there is NO religion that puts stipulations on medical care; therefore, there is NO religious reason for not vaccinating.  Cults, however, do put stipulations on what a person can do for medical care.  I don't have any respect for cults nor the members.

  7. Yea, she shouldn't have said that.

I've done my own research.  And MY research tells me to get my children every vacc except for the chicken pox one.  And, to only get 2 shots at a time (instead of the usual 4).

But, that's just MY research.  And what I'm comfortable with!

And to be a bit of a hypocrite - Please don't listen to *prettyjersie*, there is NO known link to autism!!

  8. Vaccinations are harmful...more harmful than we know. They are also a known cause of autism. Parents need to do more research before injecting their children with poison. Seems like we can't think for ourselves anymore.

  9. Nobody should be judged, period.  It's okay to agree to disagree.  Some people just don't understand what is important in life yet.  In my personal opinion I think it's okay to vaccinate your children.  We have been doing it for years and I think that the benefits outweight the risks.  I wouldn't blame them for autism or anything else.  Diseases that we have today are because of multiple lifestyle choices that we have made.  Obesity due to our eating habbits and so forth.  To each his own opinion.  God bless you all.

  10. I agree, I get my kids vacc but it isn't like the state recommends. It is 2 at a time only then we go back in 3 weeks and get more. I don't want my kid given 4 or 5 vacc at once. I am not comfortable with that. My dr is ok with that method as well so it all works out.
