Child abuse or coming of age?

A man takes his 16 year old son to a brothel, and buys him a prostitute. Do you consider this wrong? To what degree? Is it child abuse? Why would a father do this to his child?

The young man in question was unable to preform, and was emotionally devastated for many years. He is now in his 30s. He has never had a relationship with a women nor has he ever had any further intimate contact. He does not view what his dad did as wrong rather that his dad tried to do something nice for him and he embarrassed/let his father down. What would you say to this man upon hearing his story?

  1. I highly doubt that him not having a relationship for so many years was a direct result of a father taking his son to a brothel. I don't understand why people consider everything child abuse. He was 16 it's not like he was molested.

He was probably unattractive and had trouble with women. You don't **** up for the rest of your life because of not being able to preform once at 16. He has obvious issues beyond this.

  2. Well it scarred him for life, so it is abuse.

  3. Well its WRONG but it isn't abuse.

  4. thats too weird to think about

  5. Depending on where the s*x took place, it could be considered child abuse. In some places you cannot consent to sexual intercourse at 16 with, I assume, an adult prostitute, even with parent's permission.

For what it's worth, I'm a sixteen year old guy, and I have not had s*x yet. But I don't want my first time to be with a bunch of hookers and my dad.

I do consider this child abuse because it sounds like he wasn't willing and it has scared the man. My heart honestly goes out to him

  6. oh yeah.

i bet the prostitute abused that poor boy.
