  1. Might depend on whether the child is registered as a British Citizen.

  2. What o you mean did you adopt it? if do yes.

  3. If this child is now your ward I assume the Social Services assisted with the placement, if so they should be able to assist you with this.

Basically if Social Services are paying you any money or allowance you can't claim child benefits, if the child is with you unassisted by Social Services you should claim Child Benefit, Guradian Allowance and Child Tax Credits

  4. Don't see why they would, but knowing this country they probably are eligible.

  5. i agree with nutnut12

  6. AHHHH so you want me to go out and pay for your child, huh?

get off your lazy backside and work for your child yourself

  7. if the child is living in the uk and attending school etc and the person  is their legal guardian then it is possible they could be eligible for child benefit. check the inland revenue website or call the child benefit office for more info.    my (foreign) ex husband who now lives in the uk (he managed to get a visa to stay here cos he was still married to me even tho we had split) has the right to live here and is married to a foreign woman and they have a (foreign) child. however he is working here, pays tax and national insurance  he gets child benefit and his argument is and contributes to the economy whether u believe it to be right or wrong if u are entitled then u should apply for it.
