Random question. if a woman has a babie on a cruise ship that is in watters that is not owned by any countrie and the woman leaves this babie on the boat and the cleaner finds it what country dose this babie belong to?

  1. The general rule about citizenship at birth is that when a birth occurs on a moving conveyance, the first place the plane or ship or whatever stops is considered the place of birth.  


  2. First off cruise lines have a restriction on how far along you can be to even go on a cruise when you are pregnant. Princess's policy is you can't be more then 24 weeks by the end of a cruise. So therefore the chances of you having a baby on board are extremely unlikely. With that said, I doubt it could ever happen.

  3. It's depend on who adopt that child  

  4. I think timetravelor is right.  cruise lines have rules about medical conditions ie: pregnancy , so its extremely unlikely to happen.

  5. Umm... I'd have to guess that it would be a citizen of wherever the ship is in port when it's discovered.  Logic is that they'd take the child off the ship immediately for medical attention and process paperwork there.
