  1. Self-esteem-as you said through independence

Social skills: sharing time with an adult-if its baby changing nappy can be a social experience of one-to-one time, eye contact, funny noises and faces :)

Language development: talking about what they are doing and talkingabout why...encourages their thinking

Self-care is one of the foundation stage aims for 3 year olds.

maths: counting eg: how many cups for snack, how many sinks-are there enough or wil he/she have to wait etc.

Being healthy will support growth and the well-being of the child's body-if they are growing and developing physical they will access learning through not being off preschool sick, having the energy to actually join in, physical skills to kick a ball etc.

Choices: choosing which towel/soap to use, which toilet cubicle to go in etc. making chooses promotes independence.

    hope I've helped!
