Child daycare/pre school question?

How much does it cost to enroll a 3 year old into child care/pre school part time? i just want to know estimates,personal experience.

are there any added fee's twice a year for them to go field trips? if so how much?

Well in my area it can range from free if your school district has pre-k (3-4 yo) to $3000 for a religious day-care/pre-k.

Also, if you're low-income the state can pay for your child care but I'm not familiar with your area so I can't tell you who to contact since I'm in NJ.

It depends on what you're looking for...

Usually you pay a small fee $10 and under for field trips.  You also have to factor in paying for lunch and/or brown bagging lunch!

In southern CA, it can range from $200 per month to $1000 per month depending on the school.  Usually there is a registration fee of about $50 per year.

This completely depends on where you live and how many hours you are looking to enroll your child in daycare. Some daycare centers charge the full-time rate no matter how many hours the child is in care.

Field trip fees are going to depend on the type of program you enroll in. Some preschools go on several field trips throughout the year and some do not go on the any. The fee's will vary based on the program.

The best way to determine what it will cost you for part time care is to call several of the daycares in your area. Compare prices and programs and then visit the ones that you like in person to determine the best fit for your child.
