our children going to study to school and coming with tired. just taking a rest for dress changing after a cup of coffe, they begin to sit in the table for home works which is lasting 2 hours and sleeping on the table itself without taking food.

hence,

is there any way or suggestion to schools not to give home works? why i am saying this is, the children are concentrating only on home works and leaving other subjects, since they find no time to revise or to read.

  1. I'm not sure how old your child is, but schools should have a homework policy that states how many hours of homework the students should be receiving per week for each subject.

As a teacher, and a parent, I think homework is important as it is designed to reinforce the learning done at school.  Unfortunately, there are times when it can be just busy work and not effective.

If your child is strugling with their homework, and it's taking them two hours when it should only take 30 minutes, then there might be another problem involved.  They might have some learning disabilities or they might simply struggle with time management, or be bored and procrastinating doing the work.

Help your child develop a good routine.  Taking breaks, focusing on one assignment at a time, learning good time management and sometimes knowing when to let something slide.

    Good luck.

  2. The usual 'rule' is that kids do homework for 15 minutes each grade. This means-

    1st grade- 15min

2nd grade- 30 min and so on.

Let the children do homework according to these minutes and when they do  this, write on the homework to the teacher that this is your time limit and they are not doing anymore after this becuase they are doing too much and is harming them physically and emotionally.

  3. Children need homework to re-enforce what they have learn at school.  Before posting I suggest fixing grammar mistakes.  Maybe it's a sign, that your children need homework.
