Question:

Child has high IgE levels?

My 7 year old has his allergy test (blood) results back today. He has a score of 100 for house dust and dust mites, .91 and 1.62 for a couple of pollen types (the names are in Japanese so I haven't worked out which yet!) and 1.16 for peanuts. His IgE level is 831 (should be <141). Can anyone tell me what this actually means?! Is there anything important I need to know? Is there anything I need to do for him (other than keep the house spotless!)? Are there any vitamins which might help?

I'm in Japan, so there's a bit of a language barrier at the hospital....

Thanks!
