  1. Set up Parental Controls from an Administrator account if running Vista (and if your child is not a PC geek or hacker). You can also keep the filters on in Internet Explorer options. Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Content Tab.

    Explore if Firefox.

  2. On my kids computers I've installed a program called BSafe, you can set the levels of security according to your child and what you want blocked. I've set mine to block almost anything on my kids computer. BSafe is really great but it isn't free, that's the only downside, I don't know if there might be one you could get free. You can go to there website for information at http://www.bsafehome.com/

  3. There are alot of programs like this, if you have windows vista you can set it up so that they can't view sites like this and you can even put time on the computer for when you want him on or not!
