Coach is asking us to pick the music and we don't know what to choose. He suggested something age appropriate (she's 8) and for her skill level. She's skating a basic one minute routine and it should not be overly "dramatic" and can have words - doesn't have to be instrumental. Help appreciated. We'd like to use something we have - and we have Disney's Greatest - is Disney okay?

  1. There are many good samples including some Disney style music at this site: http://www.sonicedgemusic.com/pcmusic.ht...

They have precut music as well as custom cut music and a skating music search engine.

  2. Disney is a MUST for first time competitors! :) It was my first music too. It was a remix of the Little Mermaid songs!

Try to get music from her favorite Disney movie soundtrack.

  3. Disney is DEFINENTLY perfect for that age/level. I would reccomend something very cute...mine was Under the Sea. Also, make sure it is something she likes, that way, she will be more into the program.

Good Luck! First competitions are so exciting!

  4. Why don't you ask your daughter (daughter?) what her favourite songs are?

    Anything from Disney is great.

Also, if you need any help, II can get pretty much any song and cut that song down to 1 minute. :D

    Good luck!

  5. Yeah, Disney is awesome. I think it will be very age appropriate and good for her level.
