  1. is this a question??? if so then yes it should. little kids should not have to help work. there are too many adults for that

  2. Child labor, and outsourcing in general, is cheap. Companies like Nike make a killing paying only a few dollars, if that much, to have name brand shoes like Jordans made by children in developing countries, then selling them here in America for hundreds of dollars. But as far as they're concerned, that's just good economics. Their only goal is to make a profit, **** who suffers in the process, and any concern they show on the issue is just PR and marketing schemes.

Governments don't do much, or just won't protect the children, or adult workers for that matter, becasue they need the money that these corporations bring in, in a sense. Many of these goverments are corrupt, or have been corrupted, because they DO have the resources to improve their economies and the means to provide for their people in one way or another, yet they don't. They've allowed foreign businesses to stake claims on their resources and virtually tell them how to run their own governments.

There are plenty of resources to go around world wide, every country has some kind of resource that it could use. That means there is no reason why countries, companies, individuals, etc. should have to resort to dog-eat-dog economic practices like exploiting child labor.

Foreign child labor will stop, or even be considered as an issue, in developing countries only after American and European corporations, and other wealthy nations stop banking off of it. Until then, it's not going to stop... unless people become willing to work in lower working conditions for less pay and benefits here in America...

  3. It should be banned everywhere not just developing countries.

I agree with you. Best wishes. UK
