that occurred years before they were born, speak languages they have never learned or been exposed to, and similar phenomena...

What do you believe is the most likely explanation? Interested to know your thoughts, and if you have referrals to any research that has been done that supports your reasoning, it would be appreciated.

  1. I'm not sure if you are referring to savants - people with enormous disabilities, with extraordinary talents. See the link if that's what I think you are asking about.

  2. This has never happened to me before, but it has happened to my friend. She fell asleep during a long bus trip and started speaking German in her sleep. She doesn't know any German AT ALL, but another person who was with us, who could speak German, said she was speaking very fluently.

Don't know what the reason is. I'm guessing a past life, even though I don't believe in it 100%.

  3. one reason:

    1. genetically acquired. all human have the gene for learning fast or being genius it's just the matter if the gene is turned on. having a particular skill without any exposure is imposible in human genome. there are animals that can have a skill without any exporsure but not humans. A prodigy is a child, typically younger than 13 years old, who is performing at the level of a highly trained adult in a very demanding field of endeavor. people speak to the baby inside the womb but this contributes to the exposure of the child verbally.
