Child puts things in a**s?

I have a 12 year old son. He has ADHD and ODD. He has been abused by his father since he was born (spanked, verbally abused)....we are divorced now. He does some very unusual things but lately they have been getting stranger. I have found several objects that he has been inserting in his a**s. Is this "normal" experimenting for a child his age or do you think this might be a sign of sexual abuse going on? His father is into some very unusual sexual things. I know he does have some mental issues that need to be dealt with but I'm worried this might be the sign of something more.

My son is seven and i;ve caught him sticking things in his a**s in the tub.He has never been abused.Just a phase.

well, I just typed "children with things in a**s", cause it's the second time I caught my kid stuffing a little marble up his a*s, also hiding guilty behind the door. Funny he was guilty the first time, too, when he had no precedent of me being weirdly furious. Now, I'm sure nobody ever abused him. He's 5. I remember having strange guilty sexual memories involving some plastic doll when I was kinda 4, no a**s though. Should I be worried about my son's sexual direction or it's a normal discovery phase?
