George Feigley won't be required to register as a s*x offender - because he was convicted before Megan's Law.

He did all his full time so - no parole.

George Feigley was convicted in 1975 , in 1976 he escaped for 2 years ,convicted of conspiracy charges in 1995 for attempting to direct sexual activity involving children by telephone from prison- so he wasn't a model prisoner.

Nothing the public can do. After 30 years in prison this child rapist is home with his wife in Harrisburg , PA

A wife that was also convicted of corrupting the morals of minors.

Does this seem right? Does this sound like a guy who wanted to reform ?

  1. Okay - seriously now.

After being in jail THIRTY YEARS, do you really think he wants to be in jail again?

    h**l no!

And he probably feels extremely guilty for what he has done now and will never do it again. You know nothing about how he feels. All you know is what the media tells you.

I live in near Harrisburg, and am I scared for my kids? Uh, no.

Any parent who leaves their kid with a guy who is probably 60 years old now is stupid anyways.

  2. Well, sounds like he has served his time to me, and is going back into society.

He was given the maximum sentence at the time, and has served it.

And yes, Megan's law should not be applied to him.  Or for that matter anyone, since it is a ridiculous law.

That is the way the justice system works.  Hopefully he will go out now, and will live his life.

I really do not believe he will be a problem.  And do I care where he is?   No.   The guy has served his time, and deserves a chance at a life.

Just let it lie, and don't worry about it.

  3. You won't like this answer but put yourself in this man's shoes. After 30 years of prison, would you want a second chance at life? I know you would, so would I. It may not be fair that the guy doesn't have to register as a s*x offender but the law is the law. But think about it though. The man is just getting out of prison, he's fully aware that if he screws up again, he's going back to prison, and most likely it's probable. Live your life and live well, don't worry about this guy.

  4. Did anyone who wrote that he's served his time and is probably reformed actually read the link posted above? From the time he was first arrested all the way up until now, 30 years later, he has continued to say that there was nothing wrong with what he did. He had s*x with children.

This is a direct quote from him:  Thanks to the Christian crazies who were and are so influential in this country, America has criminalized more sexual conduct than any other Western nation," says an article on the site, which does not name an author. "It's a neurosis. As a result, there are a lot of 'sexual offenses.

So apparently the people who think that having s*x with children is wrong are the crazy ones? I am all about second chances for people who commit crimes and serve their time but come on. He raped children. The law may be the law but it doesn't mean people shouldn't let everyone know there's a predator out there with no supervision or anything. I'm not saying to live in fear and not leave your house but you should definitely be aware of what's out there.
