Child skin question?

Question

At what age can a child start using sprays from Victoria's Secret? My little cousin (seven yrs.) insists on stealing my spray and using it ever so often, and I do not want her to get a rash or something.

[ im only asking b/c I know that certain sprays are not child safe]

We use bath and body works sprays.  They also make a really cute hello kitty perfume at Claires. (it smells like bubble gum)  The girls spray it on their clothes instead of their skin.

My kids were 5 yrs.  Each kid got to go to bath and body works and pick out their own lotion and spray.  They thought it was so cool.  I did it to get them to put lotion on their bodies so i didn't have to do it. lol

It should be okay, just keep it out of her face and mouth. My 4 year old loves to smell like mommy, and no rashes here. Bath and Body Works makes sprays for young children even.

They can actually start wearing it as soon as 4 but it is still not wise to let them put it directly on there skin until there at least 9 years old just make sure it is on her cloths to be safe.

if she insists on stealing it just tell her to spray it only on her cloths, an not on her skin

I would just keep it hidden. My kids also like perfume, but I have told them that is something you have to be older to wear. I have bought them some Loves Baby Soft, it smells like baby powder and they can wear it on special occasions. But I truly believe this is something a girl or boy should wait until they are 12 or so to start wearing perfume/cologne.

But once my daughter got the Loves Baby Soft on her face and it gave her a rash where the perfume landed.

We use the Bath and Body stuff too.  My daughter loves it.  I'd say if your cousin has been stealing the spray and using it, without any kind of rash or reaction, that it should be all right.
