Child support in Minnesota and want to move to California

i m live in Minnesota and just filed child support now want to move to CA with my daughter. Is that legal for me to that without telling her father ?

  1. You have to get WRITTEN permission from the father to move out of state.  Otherwise you will lose you daughter and go to jail.

    Courts are very serious about this these days.

    Consult a lawyer


  2. Nope, the court has to be involved in this decision. You want Child Support but want to deny your ex any visitation? Good luck with that, because I don't think it will happen. You will be in Contempt of Court if you move without advising the Father.
