  1. Probably cost you a grand if it isn't a big fight. Child support for one kid should be around 17% of your gross pay

  2. Depends on where you file. Most counties in florida is around $300-400, if it's uncontested and simplified...go to your county clerk office to find out.  If she doesn't work you will probably pay more if she can't contribute. Florida looks at both parent's incomes and contribution to determine child support. They only consider your living expenses and what it costs to care for the child and who will be the custodial parent. The judge will tell her to get a job...to cover her end as custodial parent. If you have been married 10years  or more she can request alimony, if less that that... only on a temporary basis if any.

  3. It is based on your income, it will probably be around 300 a month or so based on what you told me because thats around what my ex paid me ( he was from florida too) when he was in college. The divorce papers and such it all depends how you go about handling it, the messier the divorce the more expensive it is. Good luck.

  4. generally speaking, child support payments are both on both incomes of the parents, though each state varies in thier own laws..that will be determine by the state'sguidelines on child support and incomes..usually 20% of a person's income..one can still do things of interests and still pay child support.
