After a 2 yr old receives chelatin therapy for lead paint poisoning I understand there is a rebound effect. How long can the rebound effect continue--6 mo's, 1 yr, longer? Any information is appreciated.

  1. Positive make many thing posible..

  2. What was his/her Blood Lead Level (BLL) and what were the Zinc ProtoProfin (ZPP) results.?

These numbers will tell you what type of exposure.  But even then...  Each body is different and you can't put a solid time frame on rebounding.  It will also depend on the nutrition and life style.

  3. in an otherwise healthy child, any after effects experienced should resolve within a month.
