Childbirth question?

Question

Is it still normal for people to die after or during childbirth? I was thinking about that last night and I got a little freaked out. So does that still happen or have hospitals got childbirth down pat?

You know there is always a risk with any pregnancy. But its rare now days..I thought i was dieing both times because they were so large at birth. But i know the docks will stay on top of your delivery. Congrats and u know it wont be long till Christmas..

I don't think it was ever "normal" to die during childbirth.

But, no, it doesn't happen often.

I sure hope your doctor knows what to do during childbirth!  They don't go through years of schooling just for s**+ts and giggles :)

I wont lie Yes some women do die still during or after childbirth from complications, however these days the medics are more qualified than ever before to deal with these complications making this rare. dont stress on what could go wrong, concentrate on the joy of the event.

|i have a heart condition that can kill me at any time and if I let this thought rule my life, I would have NO life.
