Childcare tax credits. Do I still get them if my husband doesn't work...he is looking?

I work 3 days so we have low income.

  1. if 1 of u r still working 16 hours or more per week then u will still b entitled but if u work under 16 hours then i'm afraid not. That's the position me and my husband r in until he can find another job


  2. You will still get them if you still pay out over £100 per week on childcare with a registered childcare provider.  If your husband is looking after the kids, then no you do not qualify and must declare this with the inland revenue or you will have to pay back.  

  3. You will still get them but the amount may change due to your husband's work stopping. You should call them and advise them of the change
