  1. mini pizzas on english muffins ae always a hit.  Also fruit kabobs can be good for some of the older children.  You could take sandwiches and cut them into shapes for the kids. that would be educational and nutricious.

  2. I worked at a centre where we didn't cook for the kids that much, we mostly gave them afternoon tea of fruit with sandwiches, rice crackers and spreads, or dip and bickies.

Once a fortnight we would have a junk food afternoon tea, with either two minute noodles, mini hot dogs (a little boy in a small bread roll), or nachos (a small handful of corn chips, with a spoonful of salsa and a sprinkle of cheese).

For some other good ideas maybe try the four ingredient cook book?  It has some pretty easy and quick food in there.  Most things can be adjusted to be a bit healthier too!

  3. its always good for kids to get all there vitamins and minerals, also make foods with alot of protein and iron for strong healthy bones, i am a personal trianer and fitness instructor, so beleive me, kids need all there Protein etc... just make foods that are healthy, example--- porridge, oatmeal, no oily foods or junk
