What is an odd/funny thing you belived as a child.

I used to think that lightning was god taking a picture, cause of the flash, XD

After mom died...and we buried her in a blue dress...I could have sworn I saw a little blue "fairy" about 2 inches tall in my bedroom. I thought it was her.
