Question:

Childhood immunizations?

I have a 5 year old who starts school in August and an 18 month old who have not been immunized since there first round of shots after being born. (I don't need any rude comments) I signed my son up for school already and signed a personal exempt form for non-immunization. I am reconsidering, only because my son will be around other children now...where before he has always been home with me. What immunizations would you consider crutial and which ones would he need to get at this age. I don't feel the chicken pox shot to be necessary. My mother feels the same about immunzations and she has 6 children.....If there are any other mom's or doctors who also don't immunize there children for personal reasons or feel that not all immunizations are necessary....plaese let me know what I should do. Again, don't need any rude, sarcastic or assumption remarks. Thank you.

  1. No one can tell you what to do.  You need to study.  Why don't you find out how many of each disease happened in the US last year or in your area.  How many cases for example of measles were there in the US last year?  Read a lot of books.  I gave my child no vaccines.  He ws home schooled.  If I lived in Haiti for example that would probably not be my decision and I would vaccinate.  There are many factors to consider.

  2. I waited until my daughter got to sixth grade when I decided enough was enough. I did not get her a DPT, Menin..., and the new STD vaccine. I have seen too many safe drugs found out to be later harming our children. There are studies being done on how some of these vaccines could have triggered my auto-immune disease and now seizure problem I have. I think there is more of a chance of bad side effects from the vaccines then the actual problem of getting the disease they are supposed to stop you from getting. I told my daughter that if she travels out of the country we may need to look at getting these.

The only vaccine I think I should get her is the tetnus shot.

  3. First question that comes to mind, does your

family doctor practice both forms of medicine,

allopathic and alternative? If he or she does

then there is greater chance of using natural

means to maintain your children's immune systems, which would reduce the use of immun-

izations. Immunizations have there place, but

they are another band aid that does not restore

balance in the total system; there are natural

products out there in any "good health food"

store that can keep the immune system running

at its best. My recommendation is to find a doctor who does both forms medical practice.

  4. PLEASE go to this website and learn EVERYTHING you can about vaccinations: http://search.mercola.com/Results.aspx?q...

    Please watch this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELx2eX_kM...

I have 7 kids, they have NO vaccinations.  They are strong and healthy and have no asthma, ear infections or other problems that kids have. They are all above average in intelligence and have never been to a doctor, except when forced to have physicals. Yes, they had some of the "childhood diseases" and now have natural immunization.

I would NEVER EVER poison my kids with these unnatural toxic substances, many have heavy metals such as mercury.

educate yourself do not take chances with the precious health of your children.

  5. My son has asberger's--autism. It is a personal choice on immunizations, but if I had a rewind button I would have NEVER gotten him immunized! Things may ahve turned out the same, but that is why I wish I would have known then what I know now!

  6. I can't tell you which immunizations to utilize and which to avoid.  But I can tell you that before I allowed my son to be vaccinated I requested the content information to be sure that he was not getting any aluminum or mercury in his shots.  I also requested the batch number and checked it out for myself.  Doctors really frown on that, but so what.  It's your child and your responsibility.  I do not allow my son to get the flu or pneumonia vaccines.
