it will be treated in all confidence, you tell them whatever is bothering you.

They are trained counsellors, and will help.  Picking up the phone is the hard part perhaps but do it if you need advice/help

  2. It will be treated in confidence but if you conifde that you are going to do something that breaks the law or seriously harm yourself then they may be obliged to inform teh police.

    Are you ok??

Childline will help you adn you should be brave enough to call them if you have a problem.

You could also try getting an appointment to speak to your GP. they are not sjut there for physical illnesses they may also help you with other problems. they can refer you to a counsellor that you could see on a regualr basis.

please dont do anyting stupid and please seek help adn advice from somebody...

  3. Heya

    1. 08001111 - Yes calls are free from mobiles, and all landlines.

    2. Yes they deal with many different kinds of things not just abuse!

    3. Yes if you ring again just ask for the persons name you spoke to last and they can refer you back to that person if you wish

    4. Hello you are through to childline someone you can talk to how can i help you today

    5. You just start telling them your problem and stuff they may ask you a few questions but just answer them honestly its just so they can access the situation and help you properly. And give you the best advice possible.

    6. Everything you tell them is 100% confidential someone may listen in ( such as a trainee counsellor, or another adviser just so your call can be treated in best way possible) if you give them any inclin, that your going to harm yourself in anyway or hurt someone else they will include other authorities.

    7. Just take deep breaths and relax and tell the person on the other end that you get really nervous speaking on the phone they will understand why and give you support and not hinder you in anyway.

    8. I phoned them once because i was concerned for a friend who said she was going to self harm ( she had a history), and they didnt really help no i must admit. But its different some people they really help others they dont.

Hope i helped and i hope your feeling better in yourself soon.

    xx
