Question:

Children's Pageant Questions?

My five-year-old daughter is in her first pageant this summer and I'm curious what sort of questions I should prepare her with. Are there any websites with examples of questions?

I'm going into this knowing that anything can happen and that there are other little girls that have done this before, so relying on her personality is gonna be key. I'd like her to be ready for anything that can be thrown at her.

And before anyone gets all "she's just a child, don't push that on her," this is a pageant that does not even allow young girls to wear makeup. I've done my research and want something to help her self-esteem, not damage it.

THANXXX!!!

  1. Hello, I'm 12 and have been in pageants 4 awhile. (i'm in one this may!) and just start talking to her about global warming, wars, and other uh, nice things. alsom teach her how to answer a question in a complete question. best of luck to both of u!

BTW- what pageant system is it?

EDIT- oh u wanted links, sorry! i dont know how to add links, but type in 101 pageant tips into google

  2. A five-year-old will be asked very simple questions. She'll most likely be asked what her favorite color, food, song, place to eat, animal, movie, etc is and why. I have a website with teen/miss questions, but I promise you she won't be asked anything difficult. If you want to practice with her, have conversations with her. Make sure she can elaborate on simple questions. Make sure she's able to sit still, up straight, and with her ankles crossed, not her knees. (So she doesn't kick her legs.) Try to teach her to speak eloquently. She'll still sound like a little girl, but make sure she doesn't babble, get off-topic when asked a question, talk too fast or too slow, or make a lot of "ums."

    Good luck!
