Children's Services: Would they try and track me down?

I've been debating about writing a letter to children's services for some time now. I'm worried they won't take me seriously cause majority of this information I've heard from friends and family. The child is suffering from schizophrenia. Her family refuse to accept her condition. She lives in a filthy place. And is drinking, smoking and doing pot.

I've written a letter cause I don't want to call. I'm worried about sending the letter cause of being over 600 km away. I know they'll see the postal code, and I don't want them to not take me seriously.

If I did send it, would they take it seriously? Would they try and find me?

  1. It would depend on how credible you were. That could mean whether your letter sounds sensible or spiteful, on how you claim to know the information, why you are getting involved and also on things such as the age of the child. Also, if there are other reports from believeable people. Good luck for caring about this young person and hope things work out.

  2. I live in the US and it don't know where you live  but it might depend upon what info  you give in the letter and how credible it is.
