  1. don't know any specifically-but there is a shelf full at borders and barnes and nobles.........

  2. Special people, Special Ways, also A Friend for Tobin. You can find some here https://www.fhautism.com/cgi-bin/shopper...

http://www.ucando.org/books.html has a bunch of disability specific books that might be of help.

  3. My favorite is Someone Special, Just Like You by Tricia Brown

It discusses the similarities of all kids, with disabilities and without. It has photographs of kids with and without disabilities doing different activities (playing games, eating ice cream, walking, etc). It's an older book, but my kids still enjoy it.

  4. I'm glad you are interested in teaching young children about people with disabilities.  Unfortunately, parents are often embarrassed when their kids ask questions about those with disabilities in public.  As a family member of two individuals with disabilities and as a special educator, it is so important for children to be aware and accept all children!  That being said, I have a few favorite books for children:

Don't Call Me Special:  A First Look at Disability

by:  Pat Thomas and Lesley Harker

Since We're Friends:  An Autism Picture Book

    by: Celeste Shally

    Victoria's Day

    by:  Maria de Fatima Campos

    Nice Wheels

    by:  Gwendolyn Hooks

All Kinds of Friends, Even Green!

    by:  Ellen B. Senisi

Hope this books will be helpful!  They have great illustrations and pictures--great for young kids!  Enjoy!

  5. Sneetches by Dr. Seuss is about accepting those who are different.

Did you carry the flag today, Charley? by Rebecca Caudill is an excellent book. I think it's important reading for teachers, but children can see that Charlie is different in his approach to life around him. It has the message that different kids of people are valuable.

This site has a list of 126 picture books for young children about disabilities:
